Description
Once upon a summertime, in a land called the UK, there was a family with an important tale to tell...
Himesh Patel narrates a story following a child who worries about having "no stories to tell or clothes to wear" when he goes back to school at the end of the summer.
4 million children in the UK are growing up in poverty this summer.
But poverty no longer needs to be the elephant in the room.
This animation is designed to help parents talk to children about poverty. Find more resources at our online parent hub: Save the Children UK | How to talk to your child about money and not having enough

This summer, the feeling of poverty will get bigger and bigger for millions of children, taking over the space where their childhood should be. Save the Children supports families now — helping to bridge the summer holiday gap with food, activities and cash grants — while fighting to end child poverty for good.
