Why do we think snakes look angry?
In this short video, I talk about tiger snakes and the way we humans interpret their facial features. That “angry” look? It’s not aggression — it’s an evolutionary advantage. Their heavy brow isn’t about emotion — it’s about protecting their eyes as they move through rough terrain.
Our tendency to project human emotions onto animals can shape fear, misunderstanding, and even hatred. But when we look closer, we start to see the real animal — not a villain, just a beautifully adapted creature doing its best to survive.
