Support Birds All Summer Long | Welcome Back Birds! [Live Event Recording]

Cornell Lab of Ornithology Guide 26 days ago

Description

The summer busyness of breeding birds is on display as spring migration slows—it doesn’t take long for birds to switch over from migrating to courting and nesting. In just a few weeks there’ll be baby birds everywhere!

In this recording from a live online event, host Charles Eldermire chatted with Nestwatch project leader Robyn Bailey, Garden for Birds project leader Becca Rodomsky-Bish, and communications specialist Ileana Betancourt about some of their favorite summertime birding, like enjoying the dawn chorus, and some cool birds to make sure you look and listen for all summer. We also shared some tips you can use to increase the diversity of birds visiting your yard and how to keep them safe.
