In East Detroit, beekeepers Tim Paule and Nicole Lindsey are transforming their community one hive at a time. By working to convert a portion of the estimated 90,000 vacant housing lots in their city into urban bee farms, Detroit Hives is bringing life back to their community and diversity to the field of beekeeping, and all while leading community and civic engagement.

The Environmental Voter Project estimates that over 8 million environmentalists did not vote in the 2020 presidential election. Let’s change that in November!
