Jonathan βSugarfootβ Moffett is a legendary drummer best known for his decades-long work with Michael Jackson, where his precision, power, and showmanship helped define some of the most iconic live performances in pop history. Known for his explosive footwork, hence earning him the nickname βSugarfoot.
He has played alongside global superstars like Madonna, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, George Michael, and Janet Jackson.
One of his most iconic trademarks is his unique drum setup, often featuring multiple bass drums, including his famous triple-bass configuration, allowing him to play complex rhythms and even melodic patterns with his feet. Combined with his behind-the-back cymbal crashes and unmatched timing.
