Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin is a perfect showcase of John Bonham’s unmistakably punchy and driving drum sound. The track’s relentless rhythm, paired with Robert Plant’s iconic Viking-inspired screams, makes it one of the band’s most instantly recognizable songs.
Fun fact: the song was written during Led Zeppelin’s Iceland tour in 1970, and its opening “ah-ah-ah!” refrain has appeared in countless films and trailers, most famously in Thor: Ragnarok
