Another awesome helicopter lesson in the Robinson R22 helicopter. The video was cut short due to camera issues unfortunately.
Today's lesson included stuck pedal, autos, reduced power, inertia landings (commonly known as hover autos but that isn't really a good term at all). The video doesn't include it all due to technical problems.
It had been 6 years since I had flown with THE best instructor that I have ever had. One that raises the bar of where pilots should be with their proficiency. One doesn't have to fly the more expensive turbine aircraft to advance in their skills and knowledge. Every time I fly with him I have a great time but leave challenged and humbled.
This training was a refresher prior to our family going back overseas to the Philippines.
