In 1973, the US Supreme court decision Roe v. Wade recognized the right to privacy and self-determination. In 2016, abortion remains one of the most divisive issues in America, especially in Missouri. This documentary sheds new light on the contentious issue with a focus on the women and their stories, rather than the debate.
It covers stories of women struggling with unplanned pregnancies, abortion providers and clinic staff, and activists on both sides of this contentious debate. This is a a riveting, poignant and important documentary that gives women a voice and opens up the discussion regarding pregnancy and the choices that come with it. At any rate, it is a very interesting timely documentary that omitted the useless politicians and put faces on the issue.
