From the ashes of Sadistic Ritual comes SPEED KILLS: D-beat and thrash metal fused with a touch of LSD and sleazy rock 'n' roll. A raw, hypnotic rhythmic assault on all senses and emotions. You will laugh. You will cry. You will die.
The one-man force behind it is Charlie Southern, known for the writing, guitar and vocals in thrash band Sadistic Ritual. He also plays in DEMISER (Metal Blade Records) and VIMUR (Avantgarde Records), and his past bands include Ectovoid, Haunting and Dernier Combat.
Speed Kills is his new outlet after the end of Sadistic Ritual: stripped down and almost entirely DIY. Southern writes, records, mixes and masters every song himself, and he also shot and edited the music video.
The plan is simple: a steady stream of singles and EPs/demos until the right label comes knocking. Expect a swift, relentless flood of new material.
