Description
If your smokey eye tends to look too heavy or take over your eyelid, this BIG V technique is a simple way to keep the depth concentrated towards the outer corner while leaving more visible lid space and creating a lifted, elongated shape.
In this smokey eye tutorial, I’m using Scotch tape, creamy eye pencils and matte eyeshadow to map out the shape and build soft smoky depth. It’s a useful technique to practise if you’re a beginner, and can work especially well on hooded or heavier lids where you want to keep more of the mobile lid visible.
