As of today, the dastardly deal to merge Paramount-Skydance and Warner Bros. has closed, and the two are now merged under the Skydance name, and now the Warner Bros. cartoon assets are in grave danger, with lots of layoffs and consolidation being planned. And the foxy private toon detective Sam Valentino is understandably very upset by all of this, as are his cartoon chums Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Sylvester, and Scooby-Doo (the last played by @liriegreatdane). But all may not be lost; there's a good chance this merger won't last very long at all, possibly being more short-lived than such past merger attempts like Seven Arts and AOL, given this is becoming a recipe for financial disaster, and then we can rebuild...
