Description
At the Life Drawing Academy Correspondence Course https://lifedrawing.academy/correspondence-course, students receive unlimited personal tutoring as they work through one hundred drawing assignments. One of these assignments focuses on drawing natural subjects from life.
Michael, a student in the course, created these graphite pencil sketches. His artworks demonstrate remarkable progress in the development of his drawing skills. So far, Michael has covered numerous topics, from how to handle a pencil and draw simple shapes and objects to tonal rendering, the rules of linear and aerial perspective, and the principles of constructive drawing. He is now preparing to move on to more advanced subjects, including anatomy for artists and portrait and figure drawing. With sixty more drawing assignments still ahead of him, imagine how much more Michael will learn and how far his drawing skills can develop by the end of the course.
