This video is an excellent example of why taking shortcuts when working on equipment is not the correct action. I tried to take a short cut during this video because I was dealing with some brain fog and not thinking clearly, and it resulted in me not only having to go back and do the task properly a second time, but wasting a lot of time in the process.
I don't know what the deal is with the batteries in the remote. I revisited it with a clearer mind the next day and still could not get the batteries to fit. Sometimes NiMh batteries end up being slightly larger than alkaline batteries and having a snug fit, but this is ridiculous.
