Description
Sault Fire Services is raising awareness about the dangers of carbon monoxide during Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week, reminding residents to take precautions to protect themselves and their families.
Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odourless gas that can be deadly. Officials are encouraging residents to check their carbon monoxide alarms, make sure they are properly installed and understand the risks associated with fuel-burning equipment.
With colder weather approaching and more people heading to cottages, hunting camps and trailers, working alarms are an important part of staying safe.
