Alberta has updated its fall immunization program, changing eligibility and access for some COVID-19 and RSV vaccines.
Influenza vaccination remains free for everyone six months and older. COVID-19 vaccination is publicly funded for specified higher-risk and occupational groups, while other eligible Albertans aged 12 and older may pay $100. Free RSV eligibility has expanded to include some high-risk adults aged 18 to 69.
Residents should check the provincial criteria before booking online, calling Health Link at 811 or contacting a participating pharmacy.
