#shorts - This recipe takes me back to #Mombasa with my paternal family, sitting the in the garden grilling the fresh fish that has just come in from the docks. I remember the feeling I had when family used to praise and love the Swahili food I made. Yet it was my father who actually did it all, but by allowing me to have that feeling he let me experience what the gift of cooking and serving for others feels like.

Recipe:
Fish Marinade
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Ginger paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- Squeeze of lemon
- Oil
Coconut Sauce
- 1 Onion
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1 tomato
- Bunch of coriander
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- Tamarind (paste or soak down seeds)
- 1 can of Coconut Milk
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
