During quiet winter evenings, I sat down at the keys and simply let the music flow—unplanned, unedited, pure. Allowing the music to take me where it wanted to go, I pressed record and the music began to flow. As if the song was already there, here is one of the pieces from Heirloom that felt handed down to me, more so than myself composing the music.
Moments like these are rare for me, and I'm so happy I was recording this moment, so that this song which was first given to me, is now ours to share together.
