Prepare for multiple rounds of potentially severe thunderstorms Tuesday, with the highest threat expected during the afternoon and evening.

Tuesday is a Weather Aware Day as a powerful cold front collides with hot, humid and unstable air across the region.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed areas along and east of Interstate 71 — including Warren, Clinton, Highland, Brown, Adams and Mason counties — under a Level 3 of 5 Enhanced Risk for severe weather. Areas west of I-71 remain under a Level 2 Slight Risk.
