Description
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis delivered a sharp assessment of the November 3, 2026, midterm election results, describing the outcome as 'a political equivalent of a meteor strike.'
DeSantis argued that the results reflected voter dissatisfaction with Republicans in Washington rather than an embrace of Democrats. 'This was a rejection of Republicans in Washington, and Democrats just happened to be the beneficiary,' he declared.
What do you make of DeSantis' assessment of the Republican Party's election performance?
