Description
This is Remake It! Where we take another look at characters in Smash Bros. whose fighter designs have aged poorly, wandered too far out-of-character, or could otherwise benefit from a revisit, then theorycraft what a reworked and improved version of their moveset, playstyle, and other details might look like!
Up this time is someone so rarely seen in Ultimate you'd all but forget the character was present in the first place. Mewtwo's still pretty popular among Pokémon fans, and was missed so greatly in Brawl that Smash 4 made him its first DLC character! Yet in Ultimate, a combination of questionable balance decisions and a dated moveset reliant on the early 2000s have made Mewtwo one of the least played characters on the roster!
But what if the next Smash game not only brought this living superweapon back, it overhauled Mewtwo's stats, moveset, and other details to fix those problems? Can the right changes fix what has turned fans away, without removing the parts that still work well? Watch on and see for yourself!
