I attempted to rebuild a sealed cartridge bottom bracket. But unfortunately, I couldn't rebuild this one. The parts are pressed together as opposed to screwed together. So I can't get it apart without destroying it. I could soak it in evaporust to get rid of the rust. And I could flush it, and relube it, but the one seal would be nearly impossible to get back in without destroying it because it went under the pressed-in part. I am sure it could be made usable in a case where there are no other option. But anyway, If something like this is broken, it might be worth trying to fix.
