Rare Permission to Detect Holy Island… What Did I Find?

Digger Dawn Video 2 months ago

Description

I was lucky enough to be given rare permission to metal detect on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne… and honestly, I still can’t quite believe it.

This place is full of history. From early Christian settlement to the Viking raid of 793, one of the first recorded attacks in Britain, you really do feel like anything could be beneath your feet here.

With my Vortex VX9 detector in hand, I set out to see what’s still left in the ground… and I wasn’t disappointed.

From the very first signals, things started getting interesting.

If you enjoy real metal detecting, genuine reactions, and the thrill of the hunt, you’re in the right place.
