In this tutorial, we take a look at how to play raga charukesi in key of 'C'.
This is originally a Carnatic raga. Same raga is adopted to Hindustani music as well.
I explained how to play this raga in key of 'C', meaning treating 'C' as Sa.
I also explained the important chords that occur in this raga in key of 'C'.
They are : C Major ( C E G) , F minor ( F Ab C) , G minor ( G Bb D) and Bb Major ( Bb D F). I played 2nd inversion of Bb Major as well.
Did a little bit of improvisation to show how one can create new melodies.
Also explained how I tuned a Sloka from Bhagavad Geetha in this raga.
