The roll-on silicone liner is rolled onto the residual limb and offers the amputee an alternative suspension system to more conventional strapping methods. It protects the skin, enhances comfort by reducing pressure peaks within the socket and eliminates motion between the socket and residual limb. It rolls over the skin and holds the prosthesis on with suction. It incorporates an attachment pin at the end which mechanically locks within the prosthesis so it stays in place. There is also a custom fabricated bottom pad. This bottom pad functions as a padding system for the bottom bone. Not only allowing the silicon liner to flow right over, but it also allows less pressure and overall pain on the bottom bone.
