In this video I share a little bit of production advice. There are a few common mistakes people make when recording percussion that have ridiculously simple solutions to fix.
You might not think your productions need percussion, but there is a reason Santana, Taylor Swift, Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie and Katy Perry all have percussion on their albums.
For the gear nerds, I am using a Shure KSM32 to record the percussion, which is my favorite mic for the job.
