Power Apps Date Functions: EDate and EOMonth

Shane Young Video 12 days ago

Description

Working with recurring dates in Power Apps gets messy fast, especially when a subscription or contract starts on the 30th or 31st and the next month does not have that day. In this walkthrough you will learn two Power Apps date functions that clean this up: EDATE, which gives you the same calendar date each month and correctly rolls January 30th to February 28th, and EOMONTH, which returns the last day of any month without you having to guess whether it is 28, 30, or 31 days. Along the way you will also see how Sequence and AddColumns work together to list out a run of dates, and why DateValue is usually a better friend than Date when your input is text
