Meet the Plumes® Jr MOSFET Mod Small Signal Shredder and Blumes® Jr MOSFET Mod Low Signal Shredder—limited-edition takes on two of EarthQuaker Devices’ most beloved overdrive circuits.
Like their full-size counterparts, Plumes Jr and Blumes Jr deliver three distinct clipping voices in a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. But there’s a new voice in the mix: Mode M, a MOSFET-based clipping circuit designed to deliver harmonically rich, focused overdrive with enhanced low-end punch, sustain, and the dynamic response of a modern high-gain tube amp.
The two remaining modes (Mode L & Mode N) stay true to Modes 1 & 2 of the original circuits.
For guitarists, Plumes Jr delivers the familiar clarity, midrange punch, and versatile overdrive of Plumes in a smaller footprint.
For bassists, Blumes Jr takes that core circuit, doubles the gain, and deepens the bass response to maintain low-end clarity while helping you cut through the mix.
These pedals are not replacements for the standard Plumes and Blumes. The original designs aren’t going anywhere. Plumes Jr and Blumes Jr are strictly limited runs for players who want to reclaim some pedalboard space, explore an alternate clipping architecture, or get their hands on a unique take on two EQD classics.
