People have had enough of those crying racism trying to win discussion and debate. We have a duty to hold people accountable regardless of their religious beliefs and the colour of their skin. Even moreso, those as part of these ethnic and religious groups should be the first people that hold their own community accountable.
Real racism exists and should be called out every single time. But when the accusation is constantly used to dodge accountability, silence criticism, or shut down debate, it makes our world more dangerous.
As for me, I started my journey talking about the issues in this country because I saw that we have been collectively going in the wrong direction, where accountability no longer exists, and where having hard conversations was silenced by those who immediately scream racism instead of holding Canadians and those in their own ethic or religious groups accountable.
