Description
A male lion enjoying a young buffalo kill spots two male ostriches engaged in a heated scuffle nearby. Seeing an opportunity, he abandons his meal and makes a sudden dash towards the distracted birds. Completely absorbed in their confrontation, the ostriches fail to notice the approaching predator until the very last second. Fortunately, their incredible speed and long strides help them escape just in time. But perhaps their biggest advantage was the lion’s very full stomach!
