Lioness Waits for the Perfect Moment to Attack a Baby Giraffe in the City

Description

Because of predators like lions, hyenas, and leopards, about 50% of giraffe calves do not survive their first year of life. Studies show that areas with high lion populations can see juvenile giraffe survival drop significantly. Although it may not look like it but a single calf provides a substantial amount of meat for a lion pride.
