It’s hard to believe it’s already been one year since the tragic passing of Malcolm-Jamal Warner.
On the one-year anniversary of his death, a new legal battle has emerged. His widow, Dr. Tenisha Warner, has filed a lawsuit in DeKalb County seeking more than $1.2 million, alleging that financial obligations outlined in their prenuptial agreement—including life insurance, monthly support, retirement funding, and other provisions—were not fulfilled before his passing. She is also asking the court to preserve certain assets while the case moves through the legal process. 
These are allegations made in the lawsuit, and the court has not ruled on the claims.
It’s incredible that an entire year has already passed since Malcolm’s death. His impact on television and Black culture continues to be remembered by fans around the world.
