Norton’s long-awaited Manx R is finally here! After nearly three years of rebuilding under TVS ownership, this is arguably the most important bike the brand has ever launched.
We headed to Seville to ride the new 206bhp V4-powered superbike on both road and track, including laps of the Monteblanco circuit, to find out whether Norton has genuinely built a rival to bikes like the Ducati Panigale V4, BMW S1000RR and Aprilia RSV4.
At £38,750 for the Signature Edition, expectations are sky high. But does the Manx R finally deliver the premium, properly engineered superbike Norton so desperately needs?
