We were experiencing disconnecting WiFi problems with our devices and Macbook Pro. It was determined by our internet support that we needed a new router. The one we chose was the Netgear AX3000 model AX4.
This video shows the unboxing and brief and simple hook-up of the AX3000 when using the Nighthawk app.
As it turned out, when the router set up was complete, things got better but we were still experiencing slow performance during peak times.
So, our internet service provider sent out a technician. After troubleshooting our system, he found a bad connection in a coupling. After repairing the coupling, our internet service problems vanished and we experienced very fast WiFi speeds again. In fact, The speed from this router was much faster than I even expected, especially when selecting 5GHz, and even when selecting 2.4 GHz while using our devices out in our patio.
No more frustration with dropouts and slow wifi speeds.
