Description
In this episode of The Ed Young Podcast (Part 2), Pastor Ed Young continues his conversation with Nathan Finochio — Bible teacher, theologian, and founder of TheosU — going deep on the end times, the gifts of the Spirit, and some of the most debated questions in the church today.
Nathan makes his case for why the rapture and dispensationalism are a late invention the church never taught for 2,000 years, why your view of the church (ecclesiology) shapes your view of the end times (eschatology), and why he believes the best days of the church are still ahead. He and Ed also tackle speaking in tongues and Pentecostalism — what’s biblical, what’s “Never-Neverland,” and why the gifts should be done in order — plus a candid take on why “there’s no such thing as church hurt,” the difference between consumers and priests, and why churches are full of hypocrites (and that’s a good thing).
They close on a pointed conversation about Islam in America and the West, the real history behind the Crusades, and why Nathan believes Christians need to rediscover a love for what they’re defending.
