Mysteries & Oddities of Nintendo's America

Goose's Gamer Folklore Guide 29 days ago

Description

My friends, today we will explore Nintendo's version of America as they built it in 1996; the Little States in Pilotwings 64. But this isn't any old exploration video, for today we are pondering the more mysterious, odd and unusual locations on the map. While some of the locations are very clear and obvious in what they are supposed to represent (like Mount Rushmore, New York City, the Grand Canyon, etc), others are a little... less clear. Like a strange airport outside of New York City, an unusual Nuclear Power Plant, a bizarre coastline of Texas, and other oddities. Join me as we explore and ponder this remarkable stage, perhaps one of Nintendo's greatest and most underrated.
