Description
A Mississippi police station is at the center of an arson investigation, and the timing is raising questions.
The Senatobia Police Department headquarters caught fire early Saturday, just weeks after an officer was cleared of criminal wrongdoing in the fatal shooting of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley.
Back in June, Sgt. Hunter Foster fired into a vehicle carrying Kohen, his mother and another woman during a Walmart shoplifting investigation. Police claimed the driver tried to run over an officer, an allegation Kohen's mother disputes. Neither woman was charged with shoplifting.
In October, the Mississippi Attorney General's Office ruled the shooting justified, and Foster resigned days later. The fire occurred just before what would have been Kohen's second birthday.
