Bow feels quite different to play in rise! Arc shot has been reworked to provide buffs for the whole party (rather than stumble them :P). Melee bow is actually viable damage and pretty fun!
I think bow will improve when the game launches with access to stamina skills and bringing the crit rate up to increase damage.
