The family of North West social activist Thato Molosankwe, was hopeful that the arrest of two suspects in his murder case, would ensure justice for the victim.
However, the NPA has decided not to enrol the matter in court at this time and one of the suspects was released from custody.
The first suspect, who is also allegedly linked to the double murder of Mahikeng business owners, Sergio and Marlene Gomez, remains behind bars, while a third suspect is still at large.
Molosankwe died in a hail of bullets at his home and business property in Lomanyaneng Village in Mahikeng in May.
