Forty n Fine!
When thinking about how I was going to celebrate my 40th birthday it was definitely with a bang! It's no surprise I love to celebrate all life's moment to the fullest. And knowing me, you know your girl was going to give you some EXTRA AF energy! Surrounded by all the people I love. And doing what I love the most...performing! This was something I needed to do for ME! To prove to myself that regardless of my age, I'm still going to be me and continue to do the things that make me happy! Redefining what 40 looks like and bring proud of it!
A lot has changed in the last five years since the wedding dance. Knowing that my two babies, London & Kingston, were going to be sitting on Daddy's lap watching Mommy made me so emotional. The thought alone made me break down and cry. I thank God everyday for blessing me with these angels. You know how much family means to me so having them apart of this moment was everything to me.
The wedding dance will forever be it's own magical thing. But how was I going to level up?! What was going to be different this time around??

I knew just who to call...creative director, producer, choreographer, super star maker @MikeyMinden From booking me on my 1st dance job to Search for the next doll, everything came full circle and I loved it!! I couldn't of imagined not having him by my side throughout this whole process. I love you so much Mikey.

Next came the dancing!
You know I had to work with my girl @brinnnicole she choreographed my wedding dance and so many other amazing life moments. It only felt right to have her apart of this. I wanted this to feel very empowering and she gave me just that!! She always has a way of bringing my vision to life. We challenged ourselves in every rehearsal to bring out our very best. I feel proud of what we created and I know every woman watching this will feel the same inspiration and empowerment we had intended from the start. I love you!

Since we had so many songs in the mix... I knew I wanted to add some different styles of choreography, to give a different flavor. This dance needed some Stank on It! And I knew just the queen to give it to me @theAliyahjanell The bossy attitude and sauce she puts on her moves hunny was everything I needed! I love you Wifey!
Aaliyah choreographed Bow Down intro by Beyoncé and Bow Down live at Coachella by Beyoncé. Also taught us all of the original choreography by Jaquel Night & Chris Granted " Gettin to the Money "

There is a reason why I chose each and everyone of these girls. Thank you being the baddest baddies I could have ever danced next to. I love you all so much!
I knew a big part of putting the show together was going to be the music. I worked with the most creative and talented music producers @gregSekeres @Rhys0o We spent hours in the studio working on every transition and the overall flow for the show. It was incredible to see my vision come to life. I can't thank you boys enough! Love you both!
