McDonald’s Japan is back with a fun limited-time “Gotouchi Mac” series, inspired by local flavors from different parts of Japan!
This time, we try three regional burgers:
Hokkaido Jaga Cheese Teriyaki, inspired by potatoes and cheese,
Nagoya Tebasaki-style Black Pepper Juicy Chicken, inspired by Nagoya’s famous chicken wings,
and Hakata Mentaiko Butter Teriyaki, inspired by spicy cod roe from Fukuoka.
It’s a fun idea, but how do these local Japanese flavors actually work as McDonald’s burgers? Are they delicious, strange, or somewhere in between?
