Description
Do your pitch shots feel like your arms are reaching while your body gets stuck behind the ball? Better contact starts when your body and club move together.
In this Monday’s with Marty lesson at the Tour Striker Golf Academy, Martin Chuck uses the Tour Striker Swing Trainer to help a student coordinate body rotation, arm structure, and balance through a short pitch shot.
The band provides just enough resistance to create awareness. Martin wants the student to maintain roughly the same tension throughout the motion, rather than stretching the band by leaving the hips back and reaching the arms away from the body.
He also adjusts the student’s setup by flaring the lead foot, moving the handle slightly forward, and biasing pressure toward the lead side.
