Marine Parade apartments are a bespoke, freshly-refurbished suite of oceanside apartments with incredible seaside views. They’re in a wonderful location in the small, charming town of Barmouth, North West Wales and perfectly placed to explore the magnificent beauty of the Snowdonia National Park.
20 Marine Parade itself is a tall, Victorian seaside house with high ceilings and period features. We’ve tried to keep these intact while completely refurbishing the entire house - all bathrooms and kitchens and furniture are from new.
Each flat has an integral kitchen with dishwasher and a washer-drier for your laundry needs.
There are five apartments in total, catering to a range of visitor preferences. For that romantic getaway for two, you can’t go wrong with Sea Forever, Apartment 5 - the top flat that commands majestic views over the Mawddach Estuary and the Irish Sea. This apartment has one bedroom and sleeps two guests.
Coastal Soul, Apt 4, on the second floor, has a generously sized double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a single bedroom next to its own shower room. There is also a sofa bed that could sleep a child in the main bedroom.
Once Upon A Tide, Apt 3, has an identical floor layout to apt 4 but on the first floor. Both of these apartments have huge bay windows from which to watch the ever-changing views over the sea, period fireplaces and newly-installed kitchens.
We are situated a literal stone’s throw from Barmouth beach, with its long swathe of golden sand, sand dunes and unparalleled views of the beauty not only of the ocean, but of the mountains that make up the skyline of the Mawddach estuary, including Cader Idris. This area is popular not just with beach-loving visitors, but those who enjoy walking, mountain biking and climbing. You get the best of both worlds at Marine Parade, having the joy that being in nature brings while having the amenities of a charming small town at your fingertips. Barmouth has several restaurants and coffee shops and a wide range of quirky independent shops. It’s the ideal location to explore this coastal location, with nearby Harlech Castle, the unique Portmeirion Italianate village created by Clough Williams-Ellis, and a whole host of incredible nature reserves and Neolithic monuments. It is strategically placed to explore the diversity, rich history and sweeping mountainscapes of the Snowdonia National Park.
