President Marcos has reaffirmed the national government’s support for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), pledging to work with its newly elected Parliament and expand economic opportunities across Mindanao.
Speaking at the Parliament’s inaugural session in Cotabato City on Friday, Oct. 30, Marcos urged lawmakers to serve with humility and never forget the struggles and sacrifices of the Bangsamoro people.
“Never forget the struggle that people have endured. Serve with humility. Carry the hopes of many generations and honor their sacrifices through good governance,” he said. (Video courtesy of RTVM)
