In this step-by-step tutorial, I’ll show you how to alter a basic traveler’s notebook insert using decorative papers to create a soft, vintage-style journal. This is a beginner-friendly project and a great idea if you’re looking to make handmade items to use, gift, or sell.
I’m using papers from my Shabby Chic Victorian Junk Journal Kit – Blush Lace & Pearls, but you can absolutely use any papers you already have in your stash.
I also share how I like to use what I already have on hand, and how altering simple items can turn into something beautiful and purposeful.
At the end of the video, I’ll include a quick flip-through of the pages used so you can see all the details and get more ideas for your own projects.
