For the first project in my Cozy Summer series, I created a dimensional loaded envelope filled with cozy cottage charm, layered embellishments, fussy-cut details, decorative trims, paper lace, cabochons, metal corners, and plenty of whimsical touches.
One of my favorite details on this project is the decorative paper lace along the top of the envelope. Instead of using a traditional trim, I created my own decorative border using a classic Martha Stewart edge punch. I also used the trim along the bottom of the envelope as a functional pocket, proving that embellishments can be both beautiful and practical.

As I designed this loaded envelope, I wanted the bee-themed elements from Honey Bees & Summer Breeze to be the star of the show. To bring in additional color and visual interest, I incorporated select rosy pink fussy-cut elements from Nestled in Spring. Because both collections share a cozy, whimsical style, they blended together beautifully while still allowing the bee theme to remain the focal point.
