Luxembourg is a small European country of about 668,000 people, surrounded by France, Belgium, and Germany. It is one of the world’s smallest countries!
While small, Luxembourg is a prominent financial center with a high quality of life for people, according to locals I spoke with.
Luxembourg City is a beautiful, charming, fortified medieval old town. While small, it is rich in history and culture.
I visited Luxembourg with my son during Christmas time and it was truly magical!

Besides visiting the main attractions, I think what I enjoyed the most was walking around and getting lost in the old cobblestone streets.
As far as accommodation is concerned, I recommend the Parc Beaux Arts Hotel. While a small boutique hotel, it is in a fantastic location—walking distance from everything—and it has renovated, clean, spacious, and impeccable rooms and super welcoming staff.
