I hinted at this in my previous vlog, but now it's official: Paramount-Skydance is facing a bunch of lawsuits to stop the plans to buy Warner Bros. Discovery! A big anti-trust one from twelve angry state attorney generals (even my home state of Massachusetts!), one from the Writers' Guild of America, one from a group of Paramount+ subscribers, even a lawsuit from some Paramount shareholders themselves because of the shady business the Ellisons have been going through to make this deal possible. The foxy private toon detective Sam Valentino is excited and cautiously optimistic about this, as is his Looney Tunes pal Daffy Duck.
