Description
Don’t let a scammer ruin Dad’s day. If you're doing last-minute shopping for Father's Day, read this first!Scammers are flooding social feeds and search results with fake storefronts selling gadgets, tools, and tech for ridiculously low prices.
Here is how to protect your wallet:
1️⃣ Check the URL. If it’s a random website you’ve never heard of offering 70% off a brand-name tool, it’s probably a fake site built to steal your credit card info.
2️⃣ Skip the mystery e-cards. Got an anonymous link to a Father's Day card? Clicking it could download malware or spyware right onto your phone. If you don't know who sent it, don't tap it!
3️⃣ Pay with a credit card. Never use peer-to-peer payment apps or debit cards on unfamiliar sites. Credit cards give you a safety net to dispute fraudulent charges.
Be smart, shop safe, and let's keep Dad's day stress-free.
