Bodhi Silent Scape continues its 'Peace of Art Project' with a deeply moving rendition of Kurai Ondrum Illai, the timeless Tamil devotional poem of Raajaaji by Chithra Arun. Kurai Ondrum Illai is not merely a song — it is a gentle reminder that in devotion, nothing is ever missing.
This composition is a quiet hymn of surrender and contentment — a devotee’s voice that says, “I lack nothing,” even when the divine remains unseen. Addressed to Lord Krishna as Govinda, Venkatesa and Kesava, the poem reflects the grace of a faith that does not demand, but simply rests in presence.
Rendered here by Chithra Arun, the piece unfolds across a delicate rāgamālika, allowing each emotional shade of the poem to breathe through melody. The arrangement remains understated, letting the words, devotion, and inner stillness take centre stage.
