Description
Never use kubectl apply in the production. Use a continuous delivery tool like - ARGOCD.
Argo CD is a Kubernetes-native continuous delivery (CD) tool that automates application deployment by ensuring your cluster's live state matches the desired state defined in a Git repository (GitOps). It acts as a controller, pulling configurations (YAML, Helm, Kustomize) from Git and applying them to the cluster, offering features like automated sync, drift detection, self-healing, a web UI, and CLI for simplified, reliable, and consistent application management.
In a real production environment, you will have credentials on ArgoCD and you will be using ArgoCD to manage application on Kubernetes cluster.
That's why simple Kubernetes will not give all benefits. If you have good skills in Linux, Git, Kubernetes. Now you are talking.
